Our Approach
Barbell Lifts is a straightforward barbell training prescription to acquire physical strength and health through barbell training. We are building a community of strong, healthy men and women with the simplest, yet most effective training tool; the barbell. Everybody benefits from being stronger. Stronger individuals are healthier individuals.
Barbell Lifts’ coaches have the highest level of coaching expertise in barbell training. We teach you the basic barbell lifts, i.e. Squats, Deadlifts, Press and Bench. We also teach Power Cleans and Power Snatches, depending on your goal. Our experienced coaches are equipped to handle individualized needs of all demographics.
The general public’s perception of being healthy is ‘being thin’ and this perception doesn’t correlate to health even distantly. The true method of achieving good health was lost with the commercialization of the fitness industry. Exercise machines, weight loss products, quick transformations, diets, six-pack-ab routines, celebrity endorsements, etc. have taken over the minds of the majority, even the most educated.
Our mission is to help you get fit scientifically, addressing your health concerns and teaching you the correct approach to becoming healthy. We understand the functioning of the human body. We’ve studied human anatomy and physiology and also kinesiology, and know how strength training via barbell training helps attain normal blood pressure, maintain normal blood glucose, strengthen the lower back, etc.
